About Rhickisha

Peace Loc Fam! I am Rhickisha <ree-KEE-sha> (a.k.a. Rhi), originally from St. Croix,US Virgin Islands. I moved to Pittsburgh in 2014 to acquire my Bachelors Degree in Business from Penn State. In addition to my hometown, I am now proudly serving clients in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.​

As a working professional, I know exactly how important it is to feel special, pampered , and beautiful in a relaxing ambiance. I’ve designed my studio salon suite experience in a way that will leave you feeling, uplifted, relaxed, and more confident than you’ve ever felt before.

I’ve been a stylist for 13+ years and have never been more in love with my craft and clients. I am a Licensed Cosmetologist. I specialize in traditional starter locs, loc maintenance services,natural hair braiding and cluster lashes. I take great pride in the fact that I travel for loc master classes at least twice annually.

What most stylists offer is a great first visit and solid maintenance care thereafter, but I see my role as a stylist a bit differently. I work together with all of my guests to create a long-term hair plan to ensure they have a healthy and creative loc journey, while educating them on at home maintenance practices. That is why I created an all-natural product line designed for Loc’d individuals and natural hair clients. Most of my clients check in throughout the year if any new issues come up and we work through them together. Think of me as your personal loc shaman as you go through your loc journey.

When I’m not in the salon, I continue to channel my inner artist with acrylic painting, twirling around the pole as I pole dance, or soaking up the sun by enjoying a day at the beach back home.​ I enjoy traveling to new places, trying new restaurants and dancing the night away at any Afro/Caribbean party.
